WHAT ARE THE MOST PAINFUL AREAS FOR A TATTOO?

It is difficult to say in advance which tattoo or place is the least painful and where you are likely to have the most pain.
Pain often varies from person to person, and some are more accepting of it.
For most of us, the areas that hurt the most are the extremities (hands, fingers, feet, ankles), face, neck, stomach, ribs and sternum, spine, calves.
Several factors can also increase your sensitivity to pain: the duration of the session, fatigue, excess caffeine, iron deficiency, approaching periods, a hangover.
In short, pain depends on everyone, so don’t worry and tell yourself that it’s for a good cause!

HOW TO CHOOSE MY TATTOO ARTIST?

Want to get a tattoo but don’t know where to turn?
The right tattoo artist is the one YOU choose.
Above all, you must like the tattoos or the style of the tattoo artist. In general, all tattoo artists are versatile but have favored a style that they like to make it their specialty.

Graphic styles, compositions, colors, flowers, realism: each tattoo artist offers different possibilities.

Do you have a very precise idea of the design you want? Which style do you want to go for? Finding a tattoo artist whose taste matches yours is essential.
So trust your feelings, and do not hesitate to consult the portfolios that are available on social networks. This will help you bring your project to fruition.

For my part, I specialize in semi-realistic tattoos: miniatures and large pieces. I really like animal tattoos.

WHEN IS THE GOOD TIME TO GET A TATTOO?

Do you want to get tattooed during the summer holidays? False good idea!
If you get a tattoo outside of the summer, your tattoo is likely to get less exposure to the sun, which will be beneficial for it.
The sun, the beach, the swimming pool… Unfortunately, you will have to give up all that if you want to get a tattoo during the summer.
The complete healing of a tattoo takes about 2 months. It is therefore strongly advised against swimming and exposure to UV rays for at least 3 weeks.
The risk ? That the color of your tattoo turns, or a possible infection due to bacteria present in the sand for example.
So prefer to get a tattoo outside of summer if you want to enjoy your vacation in the sun!

WHERE CAN I FIND TATTOO INSPIRATION?

Today there are a lot of media where you can find ideas for your first or next tattoo.
First, take the time to reflect: What style do you like? What location? What size ?
In tattoo parlours, Pinterest, Instagram, Google… The choice is yours!
I recommend Pinterest as a priority, where you can find a multitude of images online thanks to keywords to enter in the search bar
(preferably in English), in order to find inspiration for your future project.
Once you have made your selection, then find out about its symbolism, but the most important thing is what it means to you!

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY TATTOO SESSION?

Being fit is simply the key! A good night’s sleep will make it easier for you to accept pain.
Avoid drinking too much coffee before you come, it will increase your stress and your heart rate, which will increase your sensitivity to pain.
Excess alcohol the day before is also not recommended because alcohol thins the blood and could cause a state of fatigue, which will also increase sensitivity.
I also advise you not to use anesthetic cream, it hardens the skin and the session could take place in bad conditions. Come as you are, everything will be fine!

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY TATTOO?

Once the session is over, I will explain the care to be given to your tattoo.
Depending on the size, I may put an “opsite” or cellophane for you.
You will then follow the advice that I will give you for the following days.
I recommend cleaning your tattoo with a neutral PH soap so as not to attack it, and to moisturize it well several times
