About me
My way of life
My name is Mélanie, I am 34 years old and live in France, in our beautiful department of Pyrénées Orientales.
After many years of studying law and political science, I decided to drop everything to live closer to my passion: drawing. Since then, I have welcomed this decision every day.
In 2018, I began a year and a half tattoo training with my husband Arthur (15 years of experience) in parallel with drawing lessons. I have always known how to draw but it was important to me to learn all the facets of this profession correctly, which is not to be taken lightly when we engrave a pattern for you for life!
My workstyle
I am specialized in semi-realism, animal tattoos and micro-realism (small realistic tattoos).
I work at Enjoy Tattoo located at 316 avenue EOLE – TECNOSUD 2 in Perpignan. I have the chance to exercise a profession-passion and to work with my family with my husband, my sister-in-law, and surrounded by my tattooist colleagues-friends.
Little story…
I am passionate about art, reading and history.
Drawing, painting (mainly watercolor and oil) and linocut are part of my daily life.
At the age of 7 I was already setting up a desk dedicated to the manual arts in my bedroom: a drawer for each medium, I could spend hours there, it was my favorite activity, with the polly pockets of course!
In tattooing I particularly like miniatures: mini tattoos of only a few centimeters.
As far back as I can remember, I have always drawn landscapes in tiny 5cm circles! So, when I started my career as a tattoo artist, I naturally oriented myself towards the complexity of the miniature tattoo!
I declined the miniatures on any type of support: tattoo, paper, canvas, glass… I thus offer mini drawings but also mini watercolor paintings, or miniatures on glass candles!
As you can see, art is part of my life, and it is with pleasure that I put my artistic skills at your service to develop your unique projects together.
